This bait has an iridescent purple back over a pearl white body, with chartreuse on the cheeks and a hint of hot-pink under the chin. The more recent versions have a small shad dot on the side as well. It was inspired by my cousin, Jeremy Bartman (aka J-Bart), who is an avid walleye fisherman from South Dakota. He said that this pattern catches fish when nothing else gets touched. Plus, it is similar to Purpledescent, which has always been a great color for walleyes on Erie. I liked the look, so I added it to my catalog. I ended up making this pattern in shallow divers and shad baits too. They all catch fish.
Note: All of my baits now come with the "Slimshady" signature graphic and the hooks attached for no additional charge.
