These are the exact same blanks that my chrome patterns are made from. In the photo below, it appears that the head is black, however, that is just the reflection and angle of the photo. The entire body is chrome, with a clear bill.
There are tons of crankbait blanks on the market and you can certainly find cheaper ones out there. Many of them have manufacturing defects. Others don't run well at all, especially at higher trolling speeds and need constant tuning. I learned this first-hand, as my early baits had this issue.
However, after months of "trial and error", I finally found a supplier that I am happy with. I still occasionally find minor flaws in the blanks, but most are cosmetic in nature. I inspect each one before I sell it, but it can be very difficult to see the flaws until paint is applied. If you are not 100% satisfied with these blanks, let me know and we will work something out.
"Hi Mike, I just had to send you an email… I painted up your blanks and our group probably caught 3/4 of all our fish on your blanks that I painted… AND I caught my first 30” 10lb walleye… on my own painted bait…. Absolutely pumped up…I will be buying more… thanks again!!" - Tim Harding, WI
Note: This cost is for the blanks only. If you would like to purchase the hardware with them, I have separate SKUs for those (1X or 2X - #4 trebles).
Note 2: I now carry stick-on eyes in various colors that can be ordered with your blanks.
